McCall is a community built around the outdoors. That is one of its greatest strengths and one of its quiet limitations. Fire season impacts outdoor concerts. Mud season offers challenging conditions. February through April is weather-dependent for nearly everything. The Ponderosa Center is the indoor gathering place McCall has been missing. It works in any season, in any weather, for anyone who walks through the door. No gear, no skills, no prerequisites required.

Our Partners

The Ponderosa Center is not being built in isolation. Three anchor partners will call the Center home, creating a year-round presence from the day the doors open.

McCall Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau will operate from the Center, providing daily visitor services and activating the space as a hub for community and tourism alike.

McCall Music Society will stage live performances throughout the year in a purpose-built venue that finally matches the quality of the programming.

McCall Ski Heritage Foundation will bring the region’s mountain history to life through interactive lobby exhibits — a celebration of the generations who built this community.

The site has been selected with the city’s long-term planning in mind, with accessible parking, transit connections, and room for thoughtful expansion as the community grows.
