Walt and Kristin are both Idaho natives who live in McCall. They have a son (22) who lives in Montana.
Kristin attended the University of Utah undergrad and then received her MBA from the University of Washington, with an emphasis in Marketing. She worked for Ore-Ida/Heinz as a product manager for the bulk of her career and continues as an occasional marketing consultant. Her primary focus is as a community volunteer and an evolving empty nester/retiree. She is currently serving on the board of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival in addition to her involvement with the Ponderosa Center.
Walt attended Stanford University with an Economics undergrad degree and he attended the University of Idaho College of Law for his legal degree. His career as a trial lawyer had an emphasis on complex business litigation matters representing many of Idaho’s and national large companies. Walt has and continues to volunteer extensively in the community including the Idaho Community Foundation, The Idaho Shakespeare Festival, St. Luke’s Medical System Strategic Initiative committee and now the Ponderosa Center, where he co-chairs the Capital Campaign committee with Kristin.
Walt & Kristin both love to snow and water ski, golf, travel and read.
